Slovak EMN NCP representatives participted in the conference on Migration Flows Management - High Skilled Migrants in Slovakia organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic.
The aim of the conference was to initiate discussion among the key stakeholders from Slovak government, European Commission, international organisations and businesses on migration policies with focus placed on high skilled migrants. This topic was discussed in two panels by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, Director of the Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, European Commission representative, Ambassador of the United States of America, Director of IOM Regional Office for EEA, EU and NATO, Director of the Migration Policy Institute, Director of the Section for Asylum Policy and Migration at the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic as well as representatives of private companies operating in Slovakia.The conference took place in Bratislava on 31 January 2013.
