The EMN Small Scale Meeting on legal counselling for asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection was held in Piešťany on 5 – 6 October 2015. The meeting was organised by International Organisation for Migration (IOM) together with the Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic (MO MoI SR).
Apart from the representatives of IOM and MO MoI SR, the meeting was attended by employees of the Legal Aid Center. The participants discussed approaches of the MO MoI SR during the asylum procedure and legal counselling for asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection and experience of the Legal Aid Center in this field. At the same time the latest EMN outputs as well as planned activities for 2015 were presented at the meeting.
