In November 2012, IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic held a thematic seminar with representatives of Bureau of Border and Aliens Police of the Police Force Presidium.
Discussion at the seminar was aimed at amendment of the act on residence of aliens as well as outputs of the EMN study on Practical Measures for Reducing Irregular Migration in the Slovak Republic.
