EMN presented itself in an academic discussion with international participation which was held on 17 June 2011 in Bratislava as a part of the preparatory meeting for the NICLAS Summer School on Migration.
The discussion began with presentation of the EMN project and its outcomes followed by basic data on migration and asylum policy in the Slovak Republic. The core theme of the interactive activity was the results of the IOM's representative research on the attitudes of the public towards foreigners and foreign migration in the Slovak Republic. Presentation of international media award 'Migrants in the Spotlight' was also included.
